ETHICS CONSULTING AND TRAINING
As a consultant to businesses, healthcare, and professional organizations, I develop and deliver ethics training, evaluate policies and documents, and produce reports supporting responsible decision-making in response to ethical challenges. My previous clients include, among others, the American Society of Health Systems Pharmacists, L'Oréal USA (Clark, NJ), Kiehl’s Since 1851, Inc. (New York City), and E4—Eclipse Ethics Education Enterprises, LLC, Philadelphia, PA.
My policy analysis and ethics workshops emphasize values and understanding over mere compliance. I use realistic case examples to help workshop participants learn to integrate ethical thinking in the workplace and beyond.

- I have been a philosophy professor for 25 years, teaching at Rutgers, Kalamazoo College, Bryn Mawr College, MCPHS University (formerly Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences), and Boston University.
- Philosophy provides a unique perspective grounded in established and innovative intellectual traditions, critical thinking, and careful use of language.
- As Chair of the MCPHS University Institutional Review Board for over 16 years, I have reviewed over 1,200 research proposals, advised hundreds of researchers, and delivered training to scores of students and faculty members.
- My academic writing has been published by MIT Press, Oxford University Press, Cambridge University Press, Routledge, Springer, in multiple academic journals in theoretical and empirical fields.
- I developed test questions at ETS (the Educational Testing Service) as an Assistant Examiner in the Reasoning Group.
- At Kalamazoo College, I served on the faculty Admissions Committee.
- My work has been supported by federal, international, and institutional grant funding.
